BBR made an ITB kit for the NC, but I need it for the ND.

I dont even care much about the 67hp gain, I need that noise. The onboard shots in this video are perfect.

I almost bought a $500, hot air intake the other day because I’m getting desperate for some noise.

I'm surprised at the gains they're claiming. Is the stock intake manifold really that restrictive that ITB's gain that much with stock ECU calibration?

cars with graphics often look so bad, or ricey, or trendy. but the gold on red is pretty subtle here, I think it looks fantastic.

Cams are in the kit too, which makes its a lot more complicated.

The package also includes new intake and exhaust camshafts, a bespoke drive-by-wire system that’s perfectly integrated into the OEM ECU, new 3.5-inch tailpipes

I wonder if you can buy things a l a carte.  It would be nice to do the intake and exhaust, leaving the engine in the car.

It could be a little thinner but yea, its not bad. Seems like they just have a strip and cut it to either  car in any color.

A that’s awesome.

B Just a drop in filter will increase your intake noise. Aem is the only one I like with Cosworth and Amsoil discontinuing their drop in filters.

Aem is owned by k&n but their auto filter media is worlds apart.

Okay but do I get the filter or the cold air intake?

I should actually at least get a filter, its time to do it.

Could for sure because no inspections but I’ve watched a lot of youtube videos and they all sound pretty damn raspy. D ont want to sound like a Civic from 2005.

That sounds marvelous, but for $4k+, I’m getting a turbo kit and 75 additional horses.

Yup, it was superchargered from factory, I just put a cold air intake and a smaller pulley on it

Air filter, especially if you live in a wet climate. Plus, you can do stuff like this.

https://rev9autosport.com/garage-vary-emblem-duct.html

The cold air intakes are usually made from a metal which is really thermally conductive whereas the factory stiff is plastic. The plastic has a fraction of the coefficient of thermal conduction that a metal material has, so you’ll get colder air.

Additionally, some cold air intakes skew the vector of airflow across the meter requiring a tune to be fully safe.

I’m an idiot, I did cam work once, it was a pushrod engine on a stand  and over a decade ago.

Should have said I don’t really want to do anything “in” the engine. But it is a good point that they are on the very top of the engine.
